brites' house
Beach house, Florianópolis - Santa Catarina | Brazil
This linear house has been designed using Revit Architecture software.
In a narrow terrain, with a rectangular configuration and practically level, two houses are designed mirroring each other, assuming itself as two linear houses. The proposal values natural light, the areas of conviviality and privacy.

On the ground floor, and taking into account the width of the ground of thirteen meters, it is opted to lean on the extreme left side, in order to free space on the street on the right and conceive of the creation of a side passage that facilitates access to the service area at the back of the terrain.

Brites House received as a suggestion the use of materials compatible with the environment such as frequent use of concrete and porcelain tiles, which resist the action of weather and sea air. In addition, rustic finishes area used, such as exposed bricks and burnt cement that provide durability as well as the contemporary feeling to the house.
