Revitalization of the Schio Mill

Centre of Exhibition and Gastronomy of the Maize Culture

Project developed as Final Graduation Work of the Architecture course of UFPR. The objective was to revitalize one real Italian colonial mill (dated 1930), incorporating a contemporary building to the complex, in order to preserve the historical building and its original use, through a program connected with the corn flour production - one of the main activities activities developed with the arrival of immigrants in southern Brazil - besides the knowledge about the history and constructive techniques.
